Juanita Cox, an 86-year-old resident of Jamesport, died at 6:12 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 at her residence due to natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A family visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 at the mortuary.
Mrs. Cox was born on Jan. 30, 1928 in Tindall, the daughter of Ervin Homer and Nora Felix Stewart Dennison. She was married in Trenton on Sept. 26, 1949 to Dale Cox, who preceded her in death on March 2, 2001.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Spahr and her husband, Steve, of Elizabeth, CO; two grandsons, Michael Hines and Billy Spahr and his wife, Amanda; three granddaughters, Victoria Hines, Sara Adams and her husband, Chris, and Stacy Antunez and her husband, Paz; and five great-grandchildren, Julius, Mariah, Aliyah, Nataliah and Jaxson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Pilcher; an infant daughter, who passed away on Sept. 22, 1950; and daughter, Janet Hines who passed away on Oct. 27, 2011.
