Election Judges Sought

Grundy County Clerk Betty Spickard is seeking election judges to serve at future elections.
Anyone who is interested in serving as a judge is asked to contact Mrs. Spickard at 359-4040, ext. 4 with their name, address, phone number and party preference. Those interested can also contact the central committee of their political party, which would include Republicans Gary Black, L.D. Gibson or Diane Lowrey or Democrats Terry or Marie Dolan to have their names added to the list of potential judges.
Regular judges are paid $60 per election, while supervisory judges are paid $80. Judges must be at the polls by 5:30 a.m. on election day and remain until polls close at 7 p.m.
