Matt and Buffy Smith of Platte City are the parents of an 8 pound, 13 ounce baby boy, born on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty. The baby was 20 1/2 inches long and was named Benjamin Flint. He joins a sister, Kathryn Ann “Kate” Smith, age 3 years.
Maternal grandparents are Maury and Barbara Meadows of Bethany. Maternal great-grandparents are Billie and Forrest “Frosty” Flint Meadows of Bethany.
Paternal grandparents are Troy and Cathy Smith of Trenton.
