Wright Engagement

Darrell and Ruth Call Simmons of Smithfield, UT announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Tyra, to Ian Eugene Wright, son of Doug and D.Ann Cleeton Wright of Salt Lake City. The couple will be married Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 in the Salt Lake City Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Temple. An afternoon reception will follow at the Alta Club in Salt Lake City, with an open house on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014 at the Birch Creek Golf Course in Smithfield.
The groom-to-be holds a bachelor of science degree from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, UT and a master’s degree in community leadership/non-profit business management from Westminster College in Salt Lake City. He is the development manager for National Energy Foundation, an environmental education company in Salt Lake City. The groom-to-be is the nephew of Kim Cleeton of rural Trenton and the grandson of the late Kathryn Shaw Cleeton and D.Norris Cleeton.
The bride-to-be holds a bachelor of science degree in sociology/law & society from Utah State University in Logan, UT and works as a product analyst for Solutionreach, a software company in Lehi, UT.
They will make their home in Salt Lake City.
