Judge Steven D. Hudson
James J. Lester, 36, Kansas City, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle on the highway without a valid license and was fined $37.50 and $68.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to displaying or possessing the motor vehicle plates of another and was fined $77.50 and $68.50 costs. He also pleaded guilty to two counts of not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10 on each count.
Robert Sloan, 59, Trenton, pleaded guilty to passing bad checks and was fined $200 and $116.50 costs and is to pay $616.14 restitution. A second count of passing back checks was dismissed.

Midland Funding LLC vs. William Niffen. The case, which involved a suit on account, was dismissed.
Municipal Division
Judge Steven D. Hudson
Ronald D. Roberts, 56, Trenton, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $10.50 and $37.50 costs.
