Busy Bees 4-H Club Elects Officers

The Busy Bees 4-H Club met on Sept. 12 at the Laredo R-7 School with seven members, three leaders and two guests present.
President Haley Kidd presided over the meeting. Morgan Foster led the pledge to the U.S. flag and Colton Roy led the 4-H pledge. Roll call was answered with each member telling what their favorite fall sport is.
Members held an election of officers for the 2014-2015 year with the following being elected: Allena Allen, president; Colton Roy, vice president; Rebecca Urich, secretary; Haley Kidd, treasurer; Morgan Foster, reporter; Hannah Bowe, historian; Tyler Kidd, council representative and Logan Foster, chaplain.
It was decided to have a float in the Missouri Days parade with an 80’s theme. Members will meet on Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. to set up their window display for National 4-H Week. Club members also began work on club goals for the year. For recreation, members played free time games. Refreshments were brought by the Urich family.
The next meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Oct. 17 at the Laredo Community Center.
