A “Pink Out” night will be held for the Friday, Oct. 10 Trenton High School home varsity football game against the Kirksville Tigers. The focus of the evening events is to raise awareness and support funding for breast cancer research.
The THS Key Club will be taking donations for the American Cancer Society and giving out stickers that evening and S.M. Rissler PTO will be selling small spirit bags with glow sticks, beads and other items included.
THS football players, cheerleaders, band members and color guard will be wearing special pink accessories for the game.
Bulldog fans are also encouraged to wear pink that night. The THS Athletic Booster Club is taking pre-orders for “Bulldog Pink Out” shirts designed by THS senior cheerleader Sheridan Jamvold. The t-shirts are $10 each, with all proceeds being donated directly to the American Cancer Society.
Orders for shirts can be placed at the home football game on Sept. 19 or by contacting Dana Creason of the Booster Club at the Trenton Middle School office.
