The Spickard and Galt city councils met Tuesday evening, taking care of routine items.
According to the Spickard city clerk, the council agreed to adjust its contract with the Spickard Special Road District to allow it to use equipment, with the repairs to the equipment to be split equally between the city and the road district. The council also approved a reimbursement of $7.33 to Wendell Tharp for bottled water due to a water issue. The council is scheduled to meet again Oct. 7.
Galt City Clerk Mary Young said no action items were discussed at the Galt meeting, with the council having just met a couple of weeks ago. The council will meet again on Oct. 14.
