Judge Steven D. Hudson
Anthony D. Munroe, 33, Holt, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to third degree domestic assault and violating an abuse order. He was sentenced to serve 45 days on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently with each other and with a sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections for a Livingston County charge.
Jacob W. Terry, 26, Jamesport, had a charge of driving while revoked or suspended dismissed.
James McCoy, Chillicothe, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to two counts of passing bad checks and was sentenced to serve 30 days on each count. The sentences are to run consecutively with each other and concurrently with a sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections on a Livingston County charge.
Abby Farris, 28, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to one count of passing bad checks, with two other counts dismissed as part of a plea agreement. Imposition of her sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for two years, with the condition that she contribute $200 to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund, pay $116.50 costs and $1,418.37 restitution.
Brian J. Habelitz, 36, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to an amended charge of misdemeanor passing bad checks. Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He is to pay $961.91 restitution, make a $200 donation to the Grundy County Law Enforcement Fund and pay $116.50 costs. The defendant will not be allowed to have a checking account, debit card, credit card or any other credit device during the probation period.
Associate Civil
Midwestern Health Management d/b/a Northwest Financial Services vs. Dee Ann K. Hughs. The court entered a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $1,315.43 in the case, which involved a suit on account.
Midwestern Health Management d/b/a Northwest Financial Services vs. Tiffany D. Autry. The court entered a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $1,412.90. The case involved a suit on account.
Convergence Receivables LC vs. Gilbert L. Hughs, Jr. The case, which involved a suit on account, was dismissed.
Midwestern Health Management vs. Cara McCloud. The court entered a default judgment in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $3,378.24. The case involved a suit on account.
The following defendants pleaded guilty and paid their fines through the Fine Collection Center, with their names provided to the Republican-Times:
Pleading guilty to speeding and fined $55.50 were Carol Barrios, Trenton; Hali Christie, Chillicothe; and Riley Glidewell, Spickard.
Frank Booth, Bethany, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $30.50. He also pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
Pleading guilty to not wearing a seat belt and fined $10 were Cody H. Brown, Trenton; Brian Buntin, Bethany; Troy G. Hanes, Trenton; Dillon Potter, Chillicothe; Charles Turner, Jamesport; and Kristine Ward, Spickard.
Pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle with vision-reducing material not in compliance and fined $30.50 and not wearing a seat belt and fined $10 were Bruce Fair, Trenton; and Shawn Huston, Jamesport.
Samantha Glidewell, Trenton, pleaded guilty to failing to display plates on a motor vehicle and was fined $30.50.
Pleading guilty to speeding and fined $30.50 were Dylan Irving, Pleasantville, IA; Sara Lovell, Trenton; John Marrs, Kansas City; and Rowena Old, Chillicothe.
Danny Knapp, Trenton, pleaded guilty to failing to wear protective/approved headgear when on a motorcycle in motion and was fined $25.

Rebekah L. Wiggins, 18, Trenton, pleaded guilty to failing to yield at a yield intersection and was fined $25.50 and $37.50 costs.
