Tri-County Approves New Basketball Uniforms

The Tri-County R-7 Board of Education met Monday evening at Jamesport, approving the purchase of new basketball uniforms.
According to information provided by Superintendent David Probasco, the board began the meeting with an executive session with a parent and student. Following that meeting, the board approved a student for early graduation.
Principal reports were given and the board approved the purchase of new basketball uniforms for the junior high boys and girls. Information was also presented on the official APR results for the district, which showed a 2.5 percent increase over last year’s score, with the district receiving a score of 92.5 percent.
MSBA policy updates were read for the first time, with no action taken. Board members approved the bus routes for the school year, as well as a fundraising request for the FFA fruit sales. A revision to the student handbook, which was presented by the administration, was also approved. A discussion was held on the budget, with no action taken.
An executive session was held, with no action taken.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 9 in the superintendent’s office.
