Safe Sitter Class Planned

Wright Memorial Hospital will be offering a one-day Safe Sitter class, designed to give 11 to 13-year-olds the necessary and life-saving skills needed to care for younger children.
Led by Tina Capeder, director of customer and facility services at Wright Memorial Hospital, the Safe Sitter class will take place on Saturday, Oct. 11 and will teach the students basic first aid, personal safety for the babysitter, injury prevention, feeding and diapering infants, behavior management and problem behavior prevention, ethics, babysitting as a business and CPR.
The cost of the class is $40 per student and covers a comprehensive curriculum, including essential infant/child CPR instruction. The class will be held at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton. To register or for more information, persons can call 660-358-5704.
