Eula Mae Bryant Klinginsmith, an 82-year-old resident of Kansas City and former Trenton resident, died on Tuesday morning, Sept. 2, 2014 at St. Joseph Health Care in Kansas City.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday Sept. 5, 2014 at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Trenton with Rev. Barry Boulware officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A family visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the church.
The body is at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mrs. Klinginsmith was born on May 29, 1932 in Edinburg, the daughter of Jesse LeRoy and May Christine Hutchinson Bryant. She enjoyed working with children and worked for 12 years at the Hale Cook Elementary School in Kansas City. She retired in 1984 to take care of her grandchildren and has been spoiling them since. She was active with the MSCA Auxiliary and served as its president for two years.
She was married on Oct. 22, 1949 in Trenton to Dr. Robert F. Klinginsmith, who survives of the home.
She is also survived by four children, Robert M. Klinginsmith, DC and his wife, Joy of Chillicothe, Linda A. Klinginsmith-Tilford, DC and her husband, Ernest of Kansas City, Don L. Klinginsmith, DC and his wife, Dr. Bonnie Klinginsmith of Lee’s Summit and Merri A. Meyers, DC and her husband, Tony of Olathe, KS; 10 grandchildren, Crystal White and her husband, Mark, Ken Klinginsmith, Joseph Tilford, Jonathon Klinginsmith and his wife, Carly, Kimberly Riekena and her husband, John, Parker Klinginsmith, Kyle Klinginsmith, Alex Meyers, Megan Klinginsmith and Jesse Meyers; and two great-grandchildren, Jack White and Ruby White.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother.
