Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be busy this week with road projects in Grundy and Mercer counties.
In Grundy County, striping and pothole patching will take place on various routes while sign operations will be done on Routes Z, A, N and E. Route E, from Route M to SE 12th Street, will be closed∂ on Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for culvert replacement.
In Mercer County, bridge maintenance will be taking place on Highway 136 at the West Muddy Creek, Weldon Fork and Grand River Overflow bridges, with temporary signals installed to direct traffic. Route P, from Afton Road to County Road 329, will be closed on Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for culvert replacement. There will also be sign operations, pothole patching and mowing throughout the week.
