The Princeton Tigers had a rough go on Friday night, falling to Milan 42-7 at home on Eddie Allen Field.
The Tigers were limited to just one score on the night, a pass from quarterback Brant Faulkner that found Jason McLain in the second quarter. The play went for nearly 50 yards and the touchdown.
Other than the one score, the night was mostly uneventful for a Tiger team that had its hands full with Milan, who is receiving votes in the Class 1 state high school football poll.
Princeton will travel to Unionville this Friday night to take on Putnam County, which is coming off a 55-6 week-one loss to South Callaway. Last year, Princeton upended the Midgets in week two for the Tigers’ lone win of the season.
Kickoff Friday in Unionville is set for 7 p.m.
