Tri-County Enrollment Is Up

Enrollment at the Tri-County R-7 School District is 174 students in grades kindergarten through 12, with an additional 21 students in preschool. Classes began in the district on Wednesday.
That number is an increase of 26 students over the number reported to the Republican-Times on the first day last year. Three classes – the second grade, fifth grade and eighth grade- lead the enrollment with 18 students, while the smallest class is the senior class with 6. Enrollment by grade is kindergarten, 8; first grade, 16; second grade, 18; third grade, 14; fourth grade, 11; fifth grade, 18; sixth grade, 14; seventh grade, 11; eighth grade, 18; ninth grade, 13; 10th grade, 13; 11th grade, 14; and 12th grade, 6.
