Rev. Fred “Freddie” Richard Davis, a 78-year-old resident of Saint Louis, died on Wednesday, July 30, 2014.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Webster Groves.
Rev. Davis was born and raised in Trenton, the son of Muriel and Thelma Davis, former proprietors of Davis Food Store. He was a retired minister.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; four children, Bryna (Ron) Pizzo, Julie Dykton, Cynthia Davis and Robert Davis; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two cousins in the area, Jim (Carla) Still and Jane Norris.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, John Davis; and two siblings, Bobby Jay Davis and Carol Kay Davis.
