Nila Geneva Cox, an 82-year-old resident of Jamesport, died on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014 at a Chillicothe nursing home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014 at Roberson Funeral Home in Jamesport. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Jamesport.
A family visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Mrs. Cox was born on Nov. 10, 1931 in Center, AR, the daughter of Arthur and Dollie Bettis Mann. She was married on Dec. 28, 1948 to Donald Cox, who survives of the home.
She is also survived by a daughter, Patsy (Roger) Nivens of Chillicothe; four grandchildren, Dallas Nivens, Charmaine Nibarger, Deena Crockett and Donald Reeter; and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Violet Brandon, Hardy, AR and Jenetta Goings, Evening Shade, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Charles Logan; two sons, David and Gregory Cox; a daughter, Beth Nibarger; a brother, Arthur Noble Mann; and two infant brothers.
