Calvin and Ronda Brown of Trenton announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kimberly “Kimby” Brown of Trenton to Christopher “Chris” Mengel of Trenton, son of Greg and Wanda Mengel and Cindy and Doug Heitman of St. Joseph.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Trenton High School and earned her bachelor of science/bachelor of arts degree in accounting with a minor in finance from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph. She is the plant accountant at Modine Manufacturing in Trenton.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of St. Joseph Central High School and earned a degree in new testament theology with a minor in Biblical studies from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, TX. He is employed at Washington Street Food and Drink Co. in Trenton.
The couple plan to be married at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Trenton.
