Edward R. Caselman, a 79-year-old resident of Edinburg, west of Trenton, died on Monday, July 28, 2014.
The body was cremated under the Slater Funeral Home of Trenton.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014 at the Shelburne Cemetery, southwest of Trenton, with Roger Cain officiating.
Mr. Caselman was born on Nov. 25, 1934 in Spickard, the son of Gaylord and Ethel Gladys Beaman Caselman. He attended Trenton schools. He was retired from Cuivre River Electric Company of Troy. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Army.
He was married on Dec. 15, 1956 in Trenton to Drucilla Eldridge.
His survivors include his wife, Drucilla of the home; one daughter, Brenda Wilson of Minneapolis, MN; one son, Samuel Caselman and his wife, Glenna of Trenton; three step-grandchildren, Uriah Hobbs of Trenton, Chandra Hendrix of Cypress, TX and Kristen Hoffman of Trenton; and one sister, Karen Raye of Chattanooga, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Debra Caselman and Bonita Caselman; two sisters, Winona Vanderflute and Aline Hamilton; and two brothers, Wesley Caselman and Kenneth Caselman.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be left at the funeral home.
