Philip Jan Tharp

Phillip Jan Tharp, 69, died July 1, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, IA of a heart attack.
The body was cremated and the ashes have been placed in Van Meter, IA.
Mr. Tharp was born July 11, 1944 in Chicago, IL, the son of Lorraine Reeder Tharp and Benny Tharp. He graduated from Trenton High School and Trenton Junior College.
He is survived by a sister, Phylliss Peery and herhusband, Tom. He is also survived by Don Tharp and his wife, Barb of East Moline, IL, and Randy Tharp of Kansas City.
