Local Student Earns Scholarships

A Trenton woman has been awarded five scholarships to Truman State University in Kirksville.
Samantha Battrick, a senior English major, has been awarded the Honorable Pat Danner Scholarship in the amount of $1,500; the Jane Crow Scholarship in the amount of $1,500; the Dr. Angela A. DeVito Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000; the Shirley Ann Watson Memorial English Scholarship in the amount of $77; and the Merry Lynn Lyle Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $500.
