Joseph L. Klein, an 80-year-old Trenton resident, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City.
The body has been cremated under the direction of Slater Funeral Home of Trenton.
Mr. Klein was born June 24, 1934 in Cincinnati, OH, the son of Joseph Louis and Loretta Ann Oliger Klein. He attended schools in Cincinnati.
He is survived by three daughters, Susan Ide and Penny Buswell, both of Trenton, and Loretta Taul of Gallatin; four sons, Joseph L. Klein, Jr., and his wife Vickey of Chilicothe, Darrell Klein and his wife, Cheryl of Brimson and Christopher Taul of Gallatin and Robert Taul of Gallatin; two sisters, Shirley Noe and Kay Homer and her husband, Gary, all of Cincinnati; a brother, Chuck Kenney and his wife, Joyce of Cincinnati; 12 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Klein; his mother, Loretta Klein; a sister, Barbara Smith; and four brothers, Robert Klein, Larry Kenney, Robert Kenney and Johnny Kenny.
