The Laredo City Council met Tuesday evening, approving an ordinance to set a salary.
According to City Clerk Ashley Boren, the council passed the ordinance, which sets the salary of maintenance employee Larry Marrs at $12 per hour. The next regular board meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Aug. 11.
