Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation will be busy next week with work on area roadways.
In Grundy County, mowing will take place Monday through Wednesday on Highway 139 and Highway 146. Sign operations will take place on Route N and drainage work will take place on Route J from Monday through Friday. Spraying is planned on Routes W, WW, F, U and A from Monday through Friday.
In Mercer County, bridge maintenance will be done throughout the week at the West Muddy Creek, Weldon Fork and Grand River Overflow bridges and temporary traffic signals have been installed. Highway 145 will be closed from Highway 136 to Route B for culvert replacement Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pothole patching is planned on Route B and mowing is planned on Routes P, B, N, WW and CC on Monday through Friday.
