Mildred Eugenia “Millie” Decoite, an 88-year-old resident of Princeton, died on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Pearl’s II Eden for Elders in Princeton.
The body was cremated under the direction of the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service of Princeton.
Mrs. Decoite was born on Nov. 17, 1925 in Berkeley, CA, the daughter of Isaac and Miriam Daniels Niemi. She worked as a secretary for the Union Pacific Railroad. She and her long-time companion, James Archie “Jim” Donelson, moved from their home in California to Princeton in 1979 after their retirement. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2004.
She is survived by her nephew and caregiver, Ken McClarnon and his wife, Nancy of Leon, IA.
