Summer Concert Is June 28

Members of The Grand River Valley Choir and Orchestra will present their summer concert, “Down by the Riverside,” on Saturday, June 28 at the First Baptist Church in Trenton.
The program, which starts at 7 p.m., will include a variety of selections, including “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” which has become a summer concert tradition. The program is open to the public.
The multi-county choir and orchestra was formed in 2009 and performs two free concerts a year. The group is being funded through donations from participants and community members. Persons attending the concert who desire to contribute may do so after the performance.
