Cassidy Cotton, left, and Makaila (Capeder) McGinness, below, were among those competing at the Lions All-Star Classic Saturday at the Ketcham Community Center in Trenton. The Trenton duo competed for the girls’ Gold Team, which finished second, falling in the championship to the Black Team, 86-74. Other Trenton athletes in action included Madi Trump, who played for the girls’ White Team, which finished third, and Chase Tolson, who played for the boys’ Purple Team, which finished third as well. The boys championship was won by the Gold Team, defeating the White Team in the championship, 62-60.
