The Grundy County Health Department is again sponsoring the Gooseberry Festival 5K/10K walk/run, scheduled for Saturday, June 21.
Pre-registration is now under way on the department’s website, www.GrundyCoHealthDept.org or persons can register on the day of the event. T-shirts are available for the first 125 who register and medals will be awarded in all age categories for the top three finishers.
Registration on race day is at 7 a.m., with the race to begin at 7:30 a.m. The starting point is Eastside Park shelterhouse and there will be signs marking the route.
