Judge Steven D. Hudson
Troy A. Hanes, 17, Trenton, pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
Associate Civil
Saint Luke’s Health System vs. Heidi and Clyde Gifford. A default judgment was entered in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $11,548.68. The case involved a suit on account.
Midwestern Health Management, Inc. vs. DeeAnn Hughs. The case, which involved a suit on account, was dismissed.
Portfolio Recovery Associates vs. Orville A. Turley. The case, which involved a suit on account, was dismissed.
Portfolio Recovery Associates vs. Rhonda Dickinson. The case, which involved a suit on account, was dismissed.
The following defendants pleaded guilty to their charges and paid their fines through the Fine Collection Center, with their names provided to the Republican-Times:
Tammy Egerton of Spickard pleaded guilty to failure to display plates on a motor vehicle/trailer and was fined $40.50.
Katie Fenimore of McFall pleaded guilty to exceeding the speed limit by 11 to 15 mph and was fined $55.50.
Charles Quentin Grim of Garland, TX pleaded guilty to failure to wear protective/approved headgear when a motorcycle is in motion and was fined $25.
Bret Johnson of Trenton, Latoya Ramer of Trenton and Lori McVey of Leavenworth, KS pleaded guilty to failure to wear a seat belt and were each fined $10.
Megan Sperry of Albany pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle with vision reducing material applied to the windshield/vision reducing material applied to side window and was fined $30.50.
Steven Stacy of Saldee, KY pleaded guilty to exceeding the speed limit by 6 to 10 mph and was fined $30.50.
Municipal Division
Daniel M. Betz, 34, Trenton, pleaded guilty to following another vehicle too closely and was fined $25.50 and $37.50 costs.
Brenda Sue Brown, 44, Trenton, pleaded guilty to not having a valid state driver’s license and was fined $75.50 and $37.50 costs.
Terry Michael Delauder, 55, Galt, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of defective equipment. The original charge was speeding and he was fined $20.50 and $37.50 costs.
Shannon M. Brake, 37, Trenton, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and was sentenced to 10 days in the Grundy County Detention Center and ordered to pay $37.50 court costs. She was given credit for time served and was released.
