Parent Participation Passport Program

During the past school year, the Rissler Elementary School held a Parent Participation Passport program as a way to increase parent involvement in school activities.
By participating in nine of 12 various school activities, parents dropped off their completed “passports” and entered a drawing for prizes. There were 55 “passports” returned for the drawing.
The student winners included Levi Johnson and Katy Simpson, fishing pole and accessories; Tanner Phipps, a single-season pass to the Trenton Family Aquatic Center; Kaci Persell, a Trenton R-9 Athletic Program Booster Club family pass; Anna Hines, a Shopko gift card; Nevaeh Bower and Brayden Holtzclaw, bicycle; Randy Bowden, bag of balls for summer fun; Kelsey Gibler, BT-2000 Bluetooth headset; Kaidence Griffith and Alix Cox, $25 Hy-Vee gift card; and Leah Roach, $50 Hy-Vee gift card.
