The Grundy County Nursing Home Board of Directors met Monday, discussing the new residential care facility, storm damage and budget issues.
According to information provided by Administrator Donita Youtsey, staff members reported that the RCF apartment construction is officially completed. All city, state and regulatory inspections have been completed and approved. The certificate of occupancy as well as the state licensure has been received. All the new apartments have now been rented. There are currently still apartment openings in the original part of the facility.
In other business, the board discussed recent storm damage and insurance claims, as well as the 2014-2015 fiscal year budget. Ms. Youtsey also presented the administrator’s and RCF reports. Board members held a closed session and approved the minutes from the April 28 closed session.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, June 16 in the conference room of the administrator’s office at Sunnyview Nursing Home and Apartments.
