Judge Jack Peace
James C. Bowe, 56, Hum-phreys, had his case moved to Chariton County on a change of venue on charges of first degree assault, abandonment of a corpse, unlawful possession of a firearm and two counts of tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution. His case is being heard by Ninth Circuit Judge Terry Tschannen on a change of judge and a five-day jury trial has been scheduled, beginning Jan. 12, 2015.
Robert Johnstone, 36, no address available, had a jury trial scheduled for Aug. 21 on an amended charge of child molestation. Judge Tschannen is also hearing this case on a change of judge.
Cassandra S. Brewer, 29, Trenton, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property and passing bad checks and had imposition of her sentence suspended. She was placed on probation for five years and is to make full restitution.
Janaye P. Trombley, 25, Trenton, pleaded guilty to second degree domestic assault. She was sentenced to serve five years in the Department of Corrections, with the court retaining jurisdiction for 120 days.
Ronald Hines, 28, Hale, waived formal arraignment, pleaded not guilty to non-support and had his case set for June 12.
Jacob Terry, 26, Jamesport, pleaded guilty to non-support and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for five years and is to pay $206 per month on the current amount and $50 per month on the amount in arrears.
Mitchell D. Knapp, 24, Trenton, had his probation revoked on three original counts of tampering with a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently. Execution of the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years, with the condition that he pay $270 per month toward money owed in the cases.
Joshua Rosemann, 23, Kearney, pleaded guilty to non-support and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for five years and is to pay $253 per month on the current support and $50 per month on the amount in arrears.
Johnathan C. Wood, 48, San Antonio,TX, had his probation revoked on a charge of non-support and was sentenced to serve three years in the Department of Corrections.
Justin L. Kleihauer, 18, Trenton, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years and was ordered to successfully complete the Third Circuit Supervisory Program.
Jake Gathercole, 20, Trenton, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. Imposition of his sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years. He is to successfully complete the Third Circuit Supervisory Program.
John Irvin, 36, Kahoka, pleaded guilty to non-support and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for five years and is to pay $244 per month on the current support and $56 per month on the amount in arrears.
Michelle M. Harding, 31, Trenton, had her probation continued with the condition that she successfully complete the Third Circuit Supervisory Program. Her original charge was passing bad checks.
Don E. Kinsman, 43, Kirksville, had a one-day jury trial set for Nov. 4 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana.
Rhonda K. Boggs, 41, Trenton, had her probation revoked on an original charge of second degree burglary. She was ordered to serve her original sentence of five years in the Department of Corrections. Her probation was also revoked on an original charge of non-support and she is to serve three months in the Grundy County Detention Center on that charge, with the time to run concurrently with the other charge.
Carrie McClain, 35, Trenton, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana dismissed. She pleaded guilty to amended charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution. Sentencing was set for July 17.
John J. Brown, 36, Galt, waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty to driving while intoxicated (aggravated offender). His case was set for July 17.
Patricia M. Eckert, 40, Laredo, had her probation continued on three counts of passing bad checks with the special condition that she pay all restitution in a timely manner on all counts and that until restitution is made she is not eligible for earned credit compliance.
Sasha R. Thomas, 35, Trenton, had imposition of her sentence suspended and was placed on probation on an original charge of endangering the welfare of a child, to which she had earlier pleaded guilty.
David W. Banks, 25, Stewartsville, had a two-day jury trial set for Oct. 30 on a charge of sexual misconduct or attempt involving a child under the age of 15. The case is being heard in Grundy County on a change of venue from Putnam County.
Civil Court
State of Missouri vs. John E. Vencill. The court ruled that $8,426.47 in cash be delivered to the estate of Mr. Vencill. The case involved a forfeiture.

Judge Steven D. Hudson
Alec R. Blackwell, 53, Kansas City, and Barry P. Boulware, 64, Trenton, pleaded guilty to amended charges of operating a vehicle with defective brakes and were fined $200 and $68.50 costs.
Dakoda D. Myers, 22, Coffey, pleaded guilty to not maintaining financial responsibility for a vehicle and was fined $27.50 and $68.50 costs.
