Field Day, Big Bash Family Fun At Rissler

Students at Rissler Elementary School participated in the annual Field Day Friday, while pre-school students and R-9 Parents As Teachers enjoyed the “Big Bash Family Fun” activity. Above, members of Natalie Johnson’s fourth grade class compete in the tug-of-war competition at Field Day. Field Day also included a foam noodle javelin throw, a long jump, foot races and other activities. At left, pre-school students come down a slide at one of two bounce houses brought in for the Big Bash. The Big Bash also included other events such as bubble making and hat making activities as well as time on the playground. The events are used to celebrate the ending of the school year.
