A portion of 17th Street near the 17th Street bridge is to be closed this weekend to allow for boring work to be done as part of the engineering study to possible replace the bridge.
TSI Engineering plans to conduct the work on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. As a result, traffic will be detoured from the area and signs are being placed along the route to guide drivers.
Traffic will be diverted at both ends of the bridge (Lulu and Mable streets).
