A sneak preview of the works of artist Nora Othic will be offered at a cultural luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, in the “Old Courtroom” of the Livingston County Library in Chillicothe.
Ms. Othic will share a slideshow and information on her work as a full-time artist whose artistic focus is on rural America. The luncheon is sponsored by the Chillicothe Area Arts Council. Reservations for the $5 lunch of a sandwich, chips, a cookie and a drink must be made by noon Monday, May 5. The luncheon is a kick-off event for a large exhibit of Othic’s works to be displayed in the library from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday through Saturday, May 9 to May 23. A public reception will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8 in the “courtroom.”
