THS Earns National Recognition

Apr 23, 2014 | Announcements, Headline News, School News

Trenton High School has again been honored by the U.S. News and World Report as a bronze medal high school.
This is the third year in a row THS has won the designation, which places the school in the top 22 percent of all high schools in the nation. In Missouri, 141 high schools received either the gold, silver or bronze medal ranking. Fifteen of those schools earned the top award, with Metro Academic and Classical High School in St. Louis ranked as the top high school in the state.
Schools were ranked as to whether its students performed better than the average student in their state, whether the school’s least-advantaged students performed better than the average similar student in their state and whether the school’s students had high college-level achievement.
