North Central Missouri College Lady Pirate Hailey Lowery was named the NJCAA Division I Softball Player of the Week for the week ending on March 30.
Lowery had a tremendous week, hitting .615 with seven runs scored and 15 RBIs. Lowery is a freshman from Staley High School in North Kansas City.
“I was excited to sign Hailey to play for NCMC when I recruited her last spring,” Lady Pirates’ Head Coach Megan Cairns said. “I knew she had a dependable bat with an extraordinary amount of power and an aggressive defense. Now, this recognition from the NJCAA is a great honor for her and our program. I am very proud of her.”
Lowery is the daughter of Sandy and Levin Lowery of Kansas City.
