Donizetti’s opera comedy, “The Elixir of Love,” will be presented in English with piano accompaniment at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 5 in the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center at Chillicothe.
The Des Moines Metro Opera’s educational touring troupe will present the program, which is sponsored by the Chillicothe Area Arts Council.
The box office opens at 6 p.m. on Saturday, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for admission. Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for students. Chillicothe Area Arts Council season ticketholders can use the top portion of their ticket passes, which say “2013-14 season” with a red number beneath, for free admission into the show.
