Tree City Designation

Mar 31, 2014 | Announcements, City Government

The city of Trenton has again received Tree City Designation by the National Arbor Day Foundation.
This is the 15th consecutive year the city has received this designation. Qualifying cities must have an active, well-funded tree maintenance program and designated staffers to carry out the program. Communities must meet four standards, including having a tree board, a tree care ordinance, a compliance forestry program and an Arbor Day observance.
