Jennifer Lindsay Buttrey Mogler, a 34-year-old resident of Princeton, died at her home on Wednesday, March 12, 2014.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Princeton with Pastor Ron Helton officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery, northwest of Princeton.
Open visitation is under way at the funeral chapel, where the family visitation will be from 5 to 7 o’clock tonight (Friday, March 14, 2014).
Mrs. Mogler was born on Nov. 21, 1979 in Dickson, TN, the daughter of William Alvin “Bill” and Juanita (Overby) Buttrey. She graduated from Dickson County High School in 1998 and shortly thereafter moved to Mercer County with her infant daughter and family. She was married to Todd Mogler on Sept. 30, 2000.
Mrs. Mogler worked for Premium Standard Farms (now known as Murphy Brown of Missouri) nearly all of the 16 years she lived in Mercer County. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, boating, “walk-abouts” on the family farm and all animals and loved her two children. She was a member of the Mercer Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Dakota Lynn “Kotie” Buttrey and her son, Aaron Christopher Mogler of Princeton; her parents, Bill and Juanita Buttrey of Cainsville; a sister, Christy J. Heflin, her husband, Jeff and their children, McKenzie and Christopher of Dickson; a brother, William “Brett” Buttery and his wife, Ellen of Pleasanton, IA; her paternal grandmother, Dovie E. Qualls, of Pleasantville, TN; and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins from Tennessee.
