Judge Jack Peace
Corey A. Hines, 27, Trenton, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle on the highway without a valid license (third and subsequent offense) and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for five years and is to get his license reinstated when eligible.
John M. Irvin, Trenton, had his probation revoked on a charge of passing bad checks. He was sentenced to serve four years in the Department of Corrections, with execution of the sentence suspended. He was place on probation for five more years. He pleaded not guilty to non-support and is to appear in court April 17.
Melvin W. Tunnell, 59, Trenton, had his probation revoked on a charge of child molestation and was ordered to serve his original sentence of 15 years in the Department of Corrections.
Leanna L. Edwards, 24, Galt, pleaded guilty to abuse or neglect of a child and was sentenced to serve six years in the Department of Corrections. Execution of the sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for five years, with the special condition that she complete anger management and parenting classes.
Dakota W. Dalton, 19, Humphreys, pleaded not guilty to second degree burglary and had his case set for April 17.
Tyler Wilson, 21, Trenton, pleaded not guilty to first degree burglary and had his case set for April 17.
David E. Briegel, 60, Spickard, pleaded not guilty to stealing and had his case set for May 15.
Brent E. Reynolds, 50, Trenton, had his motion for a change of judge sustained, with the Supreme Court to assign a judge to hear his case on charges of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, unlawful use of a firearm, 28 counts of first degree statutory sodomy, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, four counts of use of a child in a sexual performance, four counts of incest and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Stephanie S. Miller, 38, Galt, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to distribution/delivery or attempt to possess a controlled substance with the intent to distribute/deliver/manufacture and was sentenced to serve seven years in the Department of Corrections, with execution of the sentence suspended. She was placed on probation for five years, with the condition that she obtain a drug and alcohol assessment and follow all recommendations. A charge of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia was dismissed. Her probation was revoked on an original charge of theft of a credit card or letter of credit and was sentenced to serve five years in the DOC. Execution of the sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for five years. Her probation was also revoked on an original charge of hindering prosecution of a felony and she was sentenced to serve three years in the DOC, with execution of that sentence suspended. She was placed on probation for five years on that charge.
Stephanie Rodriguez, 30, Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to commit first degree burglary and two counts of receiving stolen property. Sentencing was set for April 17.
Nickolas Pipes, 19, Laredo, pleaded guilty to seven counts of second degree burglary and was sentenced to serve six years in the Department of Corrections on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently with each other and with another amended charge of second degree burglary. His probation on another charge of second degree burglary was continued. The court retained jurisdiction for 120 days.
Rebecca McRee, 30, Trenton, waived formal arraignment and pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution. Sentencing was set for April 17.
Forrest L. Shoemaker, 21, Trenton, pleaded guilty to second degree burglary and had imposition of his sentence suspended. He was placed on probation for five years with the special conditions that he successfully complete the 9th Circuit Treatment Program in Linn County, make full restitution and pay a $75 restitution fee.
Clifford M. Eiler, 34, Trenton, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property and was sentenced to serve 10 years in the Department of Corrections. He also pleaded guilty to tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution and was sentenced to serve seven years in the DOC. The court retained jurisdiction for 120 days and he is to be placed in an institutional treatment program.
Tyler J. Williams, 23, Trenton, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child. He was sentenced to serve seven years in the Department of Corrections on each charge, with execution of the sentences suspended. He was placed on probation for five years.
Faron W. Lawrence, 47, Trenton, had a one-day jury trial scheduled for July 15 on charges of possession of burglary tools, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and driving the wrong direction on a highway divided into two more roadways.
Patricia M. Eckert, 39, Galt, pleaded guilty to identity theft and had sentencing set for May 15.
Russell D. Ellis, Jr., 30, Trenton, had his probation revoked on an original charge of failing to register as a sex offender. He was ordered to serve his original sentence of three years in the Department of Corrections.
Jameson E. Read, 24, Trenton, had a four-day jury trial set for Jan. 22, 2015 on charges of first degree murder, armed criminal action, abandonment of a corpse, first degree assault and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution.
Jannean M. Wilmot, 43, Platte City, had her probation revoked on an original charge of non-support and was sentenced to serve two years in the Department of Corrections. Execution of the sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for five years with the special condition that she pay $168 per month on current child support and $50 per month on the amount in arrears.
James C. Bowe, 55, Humphreys, pleaded not guilty to first degree assault, abandonment of a corpse, two counts of tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution and unlawful possession of a firearm. His motion for bond modification was denied and his case was set for trial-setting on April 17 at 9 a.m.
Michael K. Barker, 22, Sunrise Beach, pleaded guilty to stealing a motor vehicle and was sentenced to serve three years in the Department of Corrections, to run concurrently with a Livingston County case.
Alyssa B. Miller, 32, Chillicothe, had her probation continued on a charge of receiving stolen property, with the condition that she complete CODS treatment. The court retained jurisdiction for 120 days.

Jamie N. Russom, 26, Chillicothe, admitted violating the terms of her probation on an original charge of driving while intoxicated. Her probation was revoked and she was ordered to serve the previously imposed sentence concurrently with 75 days of house arrest on a charge in Wyandotte County, KS.
Mandi M. Davila, 25, had a charge of passing bad checks dismissed with the special condition that she pay $372 from her bond for restitution.

Pleading guilty to speeding and fined $55.50 were Carla S. Cooksey, Trenton; and Daniel G. Miller, Cameron.
Jesse Clevenger, Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to failing to register a motor vehicle and was fined $30.50. He also pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $10.
Susan D. Ellis, Trenton, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $30.50.
Tammy J. Loghry, Galt, pleaded guilty to failing to register a motor vehicle and failing to display plates on a vehicle and was fined $30.50 on each charge.
Carl W. May, Trenton, pleaded guilty to failing to register a motor vehicle and was fined $30.50.
Mason K. Mounce, Princeton, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined $80.50.
Timothy D. Southers, Trenton, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license and was fined $80.50.
Brooke A. Wilson, Trenton, pleaded guilty to failing to register a motor vehicle and was fined $30.50.
