Several personnel items were addressed during an executive session of the board on Tuesday night.
Current Director of Technology and Athletic Director Kris Ockenfels was named Director of Supportive Services, replacing Dennis Gutshall, who is retiring. Ockenfels will receive a salary of $75,000.
Wes Croy was named as athletic director while current business instructor Taya Ray was hired as the technology coach, a new position created with the institution of the new technology program. Also employed were Sarah Jackson as Title I reading teacher at Rissler Elementary school, Jackie Price as eighth grade communication arts teacher and Chrystal Mayfield as seventh grade science teacher. All probationary teachers, excluding those who resigned, were re-employed for next year along with all sponsors for THS extracurricular activities.
The board accepted resignations from Colleena Johnson, middle school teacher; Angie McAtee, Rissler Elementary school teacher; and Ron Wright, TMS custodian.
E’Lisha Gass was hired as principal for summer school while Sabra Ferguson will serve as the secretary.

Boys Basketball – Jeremy Austin, Adam Clark and Travis Mullenix, THS; Mike Tipton and Ched Hurley, TMS.
Girls Basketball – Brian Upton and John Cowling, THS; Amanda Pickett, TMS.
Wrestling – Charlie Bacon and Erik Coffey, THS.
Football Cheerleading - Lauren Bosley.
Basketball Cheerleading – Lindsay Jackson.
TMS Cheerleading – Susan Allen.
