The Princeton Tigers ran into some tough competition in the Class 2, District 16 semifinals in Gower on Thursday night and saw their season end with a 71-33 loss to East Buchanan.
East Buchanan ran out to a 21-3 lead in the first quarter and wouldn’t let up all game long. Princeton found itself trailing 46-7 at halftime and 64-22 entering the final frame.
Brant Faulkner and Hunter Boxley led the Tigers with eight points each and Steffan Elliott scored five. Justin Hamilton scored four points, Jason McLain had three, Adam Millburn had three and Jordan Adams scored two.
With the loss, Princeton finished its season with a record of 16-11.
