Michael G. Boggs, a 58-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Friday night, Feb. 21, 2014 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
The body was cremated.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday March 1, 2014 at the Tenth Street Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Ratliff officiating.
Lunch will be served at the church at 11 a.m. on Saturday for the family and friends attending the service.
Mr. Boggs was born on April 16, 1955 in Sapulpa, OK, the son of Vergus Claude “Rusty” and Willa Jean Roberts Boggs. He was a veteran of the Vietnam
Era, serving in the U.S. Marines. He was a welder. He was a member of Tenth Street Baptist Church in Trenton.
He was married in Gallatin on April 15, 2008 to Rhonda Tuggle, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by one daughter, Laura Boggs of the state of Oklahoma; a step-daughter, Hayley Tuggle of Bethany; two sons, Michael Boggs of Monmouth, OR and Travis Boggs of Trenton; one brother, Joseph Boggs of Miami, OK; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials are suggested to help with funeral expenses. They may be left at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton, which is in charge of arrangements.
