R-9 Kindergarten Screening

Kindergarten screenings for students in the Trenton R-9 School District will be held on March 13 and 16 in the early childhood center, located at the Rissler Elementary School.
Children who will be five years of age before Aug. 1 are eligible to attend kindergarten this fall. Areas to be screened include communication, pre-academic readiness skills, fine/gross motor skills, speech/language skills, vision and hearing. Parents or guardians bringing the child to the screening are also asked to bring the child’s immunization record, Social Security card, a legal birth certificate and proof of residency.
Appointments for screening are required and can be made by calling 359-2003.
