The Laredo fifth and sixth grade basketball teams picked up a sweep of Spickard on Thursday night as the Lady Tigers won 27-14 and the Tigers won 27-11.
For the Laredo girls, Jandie Peterson scored 18 points and Maryanna Milazzo and Madelyn Wilford each had five points. Paige Miller had six points for Spickard and Tosha Brown scored four. Kylan Coffman and Casey Barns each scored two.
In the boys game, Cooper Lewis scored 17 points for Laredo and Tanner Williams and Robert Urich added eight and two points respectively. Conner Cowin and Ethan Glenn each had four for Spickard.
