Frances Irene DeGraw, a 90-year-old resident of Bethany, died on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014 at the Crestview Home in Bethany.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Bethany.
A family visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, where general visitation will begin at 8 a.m. on Thursday.
Mrs. DeGraw was born on Oct. 30, 1923 in Mt. Moriah, the daughter of Vess and Gertie Alexander Dinsmore.
She was married in Princeton on Feb. 10, 1940 to Russell Verl DeGraw, who preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 2009.
She was a cook at the Mt. Moriah School and also worked as a grocery clerk in Mt. Moriah and Mercer.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Bethany and enjoyed listening to the Gaithers music. She also enjoyed her family and crafts and crocheted many afghans.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Yates of Bethany; a son, Raymond (Mary Ann) DeGraw of Trenton; three grandchildren, Mike (Carrie) Yates, Tolane (Brad) Campbell and Tonya (Mike) Otto; and five great-grandchildren.
In additon to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, Robert; five brothers, Frank, Vernie, Ernest, Ora and Elmer Dinsmore; and two sisters, Opal Peugh and Jennie Dinsmore.
