Edith Rollene Pritchett, an 86-year-old resident of Trenton, died on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 at Morningside Center in Chillicothe.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014 at the Heritage Funeral Home in Chillicothe. A private family burial will be at a later date.
Mrs. Pritchett was born March 25, 1927 in Hamilton, the daughter of Rollie Alexander and Edna Hadena Daniels. She was graduated from Jamesport High School and St. Joseph Beauty School. She operated her own beauty shop for many years in Trenton.
She was married in Trenton on Aug. 30, 1974 to John W. Pritchett, who preceded her in death. She attended Dockery Chapel Methodist Church of Trenton and enjoyed being with her family, painting and animals.
She is survived by her son, Bari Lane Van Dyke of Trenton; one granddaughter, Kelly Neeley and her husband, Nathan of Jamesport; and a sister, Jean Burton of Chillicothe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a brother, James Alexander.
The family requests no memorials.
