The Trenton Kids Wrestling Club was in action on Saturday at the Kearney Youth Wrestling 2014 Winter Slam Tournament.
Trenton had a trio of wrestlers finish first in their respective divisions in Kaden Owen, Tyler Siemer and Sam Gibson. Coleman Griffin and Tommy Eads each finished second in their divisions and Jorge Sanchez, Logan Wilson, Nate Burkeybile, David Webb, Daniel Duncan, Maverick Stieh, Lucas Clark, Brayden Hughs and Miles Griffin all finished third. Placing fourth for Trenton was Devin Allen and Tanner Phipps and Spencer Stieh both placed fifth.
Other wrestlers participating for Trenton included Jason Turner, Jordan St. Clair and Emma St. Clair-Francis. The Kids Wrestling Club will be in action again this Saturday in Kirksville.
