North Central Missouri College’s Holiday Hoops saw the Princeton boys take the floor on Tuesday, facing Tina-Avalon on the event’s sixth day of competition. The Princeton boys were able to pull out a win in their match-up with Tina-Avalon, battling back to take the game in overtime.

The Princeton boys found themselves in a deep hole after the first quarter, trailing 22-12. Princeton went on a run in the second quarter, however, cutting the deficit to a mere two points by halftime. Princeton trailed by one after the third quarter and the two teams were knotted up at 48-48 at the end of regulation, forcing the contest into extra time.
In overtime Princeton outscored Tina 14-6, taking the game by eight points.
Princeton was led by a trio of double-digit performers in the game with Brant Faulkner scoring a game-high 23 points. Hunter Boxley added 21 points and Justin Hamilton scored 15. The Tigers also got two points from Adam McLain and one point from Drew Cox.
With the win, the Princeton boys improved to 6-2 overall on the season.
